I have spent the year growing, healing and learning.
I have found great joy in pottery, specifically hand-building pottery. I have taken pottery classes in St. Petersburg FL, Ausin TX, and Montelupo Italy, toured Seattle Pottery and gazed upon many beautiful pottery pieces all over the world. What I love most about hand-built pottery is how personal the piece is - how you can actually see the occasional or frequent fingerprint indent - the imperfection of it all is what draws me. My pottery is very simple and rugged unless I'm on the wheel throwing where I become paralyzed with perfection, so I tend to throw infrequently. I also bounce around with different mediums.
